Exactly right plus basically no back to backs. But of course will never happen

I feel like we would get more interest if games were played as series throughout the regular season, similar to baseball but with less games. Then the back to backs don't feel so bad if they don't leave the same city.

Would it impact standings based on when games are played/ injuries etc? Yes very much so, but if owners want 82 then make it easier on the players and more enjoyable for fans imo. I'm going to pay more attention to Indiana/Milwaukee right now if they had 4 games in a row
