This is what I get for jumping on the bandwagonThunder losing this one
I mean, sounds like you're rooting for a Thunder title here homesI can't wait to see how your state reacts to the Thunder refusing thier invite to the WH after winning the title...
well Chicago was up by 50 on Philly tonight. Philly is doing it betterSo Brooklyn, in all their tanking glory, has now passed Philly in the standings.
There's only 5 teams worth a worse record than Philly. They keep their pick if its top 6. A thousand percent they need to full embrace the tank. They're already there actually trying to win games. If they sit players out, they might not improve their odds much (Toronto might catch them) but they'll lock themselves into a good odds.
Also looking at the standings, Chicago, wtf are you doing. They offloaded Lavine for practically nothing and are still the 10 seed. They could have just kept Lavine, who has played MUCH better this year, still made the 10 seed with him, and then traded him in the offseason for higher value (less years on his contract and with a full year of playing at an all star level, some team would talk themselves into it). They should have sold off on Vuc, White, and Ayo at the deadline as well. They're doing nothing to help themselves
Perhaps a bit of a crack in the invincibility narrative...their youth will be tested similarly in the playoffs“Minnesota was the first team in NBA history to win a road game when trailing by at least 20 points entering the fourth quarter against a team with an .800 or better winning percentage“
Stats ain’t backing him up.
OKC is 2nd to last in ft attempts per game while they allow their opponents to shoot the 3rd most free throws per game.
Well, it is backing up the they foul every time part
For sure, but this one a one off. Once Hartenstein went out mid third there were no rim protectors. Never should have happened but over a season some weird things are going to happen. We will see how they react.Perhaps a bit of a crack in the invincibility narrative...their youth will be tested similarly in the playoffs
Point being, in the playoffs these things happen and OKC will have to deal with it...this is the only thing anyone says is in their way, their youth and relative playoff inexperience. I still see them being one of the only (maybe the first?) team this young to win but if they don't this kind of thing will be why.For sure, but this one a one off. Feels like the whole team is just done with this year, hard for them not to be. It's over.Paul George 19 points
1/2 free throws
Dude does not care at all that he sucks
They actually split the season series but I know what you mean. It’s time to quit babying Chet but the Thunder won’t overreact.Winning 2 of 3 vs OKC without Gobert, Randle, and Donte is significant
Don't know if they see them in the playoffs but if both teams are healthy, it is a fun series

Last night was just weird, a perfect storm. I did not see Daigneault make the same corrections he usually makes when Shai gets slowed down. Normally Jdub starts being the ball down in those situations but last night it’s like Coach just wanted them to fight through it. Hopefully Hartenstein isn’t out long and Chet can stop needing rest, either of them on the game in the 4th and that doesn’t happen.I know they split. I was referring to the 3 out of 4 game stretch vs okc that started the day before the as break
Lebron is an absolute freak. We may never see someone like him again.
Or, we'll see more like him (at least in terms of longevity) as health sciences advance. The main reason we wouldn't would be the money involved, as many players could simply retire earlier having already earned generational wealth in a relatively short career as we approach $100M annual salaries.
so, you’re in agreement with what I have been sayin
Great conditioning, less injury
Guys are getting injured today because they are not well conditioned.
Case & point. AD
His injury was more his ego than anything else, that is the MO of the NBA today
