Where’s Brunson burner at?

Ya gotta have him in there for his Basketball intellect, durability, craftiness, ability to take over a game, clutch scorin,

Ya can’t leave him out cause he doesnt have the swag of an Shai, but he has the same effect on the game, teammates and fans…

They have so many assets that I'd also consider KD. His price is likely gonna be low so it’s not like they'd have to dump all their assets for him if they can't swing a deal for Giannis. I'd much rather go that route than trading the haul mentioned in the tweet for Brown. Like Vassell/Barnes/#14 pick for KD or something similar
KD replacing Barnes again

I know Russ helped Denver in the regular season but damn a -92 for the series against the Thunder. Plus he set a record for a bench player with a -34 in game 7.

Even when he was in his prime, there was always a "Russ giveth and Russ taketh away" aspect. The difference is that, in his prime, his relentlessness would ensure that there was more giveth than taketh away.

Now that he's no longer in his prime, you get more taketh away.

The playoffs this year are a good example. He was a positive and a big part of why the won round 1, then in round 2, he was terrible and a big part of why they lost.

You can usually tell within the first couple of minutes of him being on the floor which Russ you're going to get. If it's bad Russ, ya gotta sit him and/or limit his minutes more. Problem is, it seems like most coaches won't do that.

I guess after the game the first question he was asked was if he is picking up his player option. He asked the guy what he was wearing tomorrow. The guy said he didn’t know. Russ said “exactly” and walked off lol.

That's one of few deals could see both teams getting behind......unless SA loves someone they can get at 2 in this draft. Then it's a no for them.

I don't know why the Spurs would want that contract. I would rather pick at #2 (or hunt for a trade for a younger guard that hasn't reached that salary level yet).

They need somebody else that can score along with Wemby. Need a Robin to Wemby's Batman. That would be the appeal of landing JB.

Be a good deal for both teams actually.

I can see adding a player. I wouldn't target a $50M+ per player.

There's a reason he was available for Denver (and nobody else seemed very interested). The lows can be far worse than the benefits.
