Thunder struggled on offense in the first half on the second night of a road back to back. The defense in the second half was stifling though, held the Clippers to 35 points. This is by far the best defense the Thunder have ever had and I think overall the best team as well. First team in league history to start 6-0 with all wins by 12 points or more. This is fun.

Yeah they weren’t getting involved nearly enough in the first 4 games. Had fewer than 10 shot attempts in 3 of the first 4 and a low usage rate

Just watching this team- I think Mobley can keep improving but I just do not see how he becomes a 20 or so point scorer a game. There are too many good scorers on this team.

Garland looks like he is back and can shoot the lights out. Mitchell is one of the best scorers in the game. Allen gets his share of put backs and shots. Strus/Merrill and even Okoro can shoot the 3 now. Freaking LeVert off the bench seems to have big games every once in a while and is a good scorer.

If Mobley had 20 shots a night and was on a bad team- I know he would score a lot of points- but on this team the pecking order is Mitchell #1 (which it should be)- then a lot of other guys.

With Embiid's issues- its hard to say what is going to happen with the Sixers - even with PG, Maxey, etc...

their are just so many good teams in the East. The Bucks are gonna be fine- Lillard and Giannis are still amazing. The Celtics are obviously the champs and the favorite. The Knicks have really built a roster that on paper could compete with anyone with Brunson, Towns, Bridges, OG, Hart- that is a pretty insane starting 5. The SouthEast division is not as good as the Central or Atlantic- but Orlando is very good and Miami is still solid.

it seems the "super team" era ended a couple years ago-- once Cleveland and more recently GSW faltered- the path to the Finals really opened up.

I still think the Celtics are pretty solid favorites in the East- but there are like 6 teams in the West I think are pretty even and could make the Finals -- OKC looks really good but I gotta say you have to make it out of the conference semi's before you can be a favorite- Mavs gave it to them last year. Any of the Mavs, Nuggets, Thunder, Lakers, Suns, Twolves- even Kings and GSW - I dont see any of those teams being that much better than any other.

The Warriors have still not played any contenders but they look like a significantly better team this year. Younger, deeper, more shooting.

The Celtics game coming up will be interesting

Celtcs, Cavs and OKC are coming up 3 games in a row- all on the road. Will be a good test. 4 game road trip with Washington.

If they get 2-2 I think they will be happy- if they get 3 of those games that would be phenomenal.

They got the Wizards then those 3. Should be 6-1 heading in, hope they can win one of three and head home 7-3
