Cavs had a 9 game lead with like 20 games to go. We all figured they had a lock on the one seed. They kind of eased up since then and I'm wondering if they can pick it back up if needed before the playoffs.

Be nice to get back to some winning (las night helps). Cannot imagine we blow the 1 seed but sooner can wrap it up the better.....just get to playoffs healthy.

Agree I wouldn't overreact to the W for the Cavs. Also B2B for NY.

Though I'm sure had we lost would have heard by many Cavs' "fans" we cannot beat teams that are big and/or physical.

There's a role for sure. 3rd and goal at the 5 could tell the defense you are throwing him a jump ball/fade and not sure they could stop it.

He is so fluid. Would have a lot to learn to for sure as TE is one of the most difficult positions in the field.

But he simply has too much size and athleticism. No doubt he could have been a great football had he gone that route.

Yes, I believe MJ could have played football too.

Most of the super athletes from the NBA could have made it to the NFL IMO. Maybe not as stars, but they could have made it.

I think you forgot an important part of this reported offer. Nets were not trying to rebuild in 2022. Kyrie was still there so it would basically swap out kd for brown and white. Kyrie,White, Brown, Simmons, and Claxton is a solid 5. I assume this reported deal came in the summer of 2022 when kd reportedly wanted out. Long story short the nets still had title hopes and no thoughts of rebuilding at the time of this offer

Kyrie and KD were a package. They signed together.

Sure it is a solid 5. Still don’t think it is enough for the Nets to contend. Better keeping their crazy stars together.
