Cmon man
It's like saying you wouldn't trade Barkley for Jordan in his prime. KG for Kobe?
Cmon man
Not often I agree w/ DJ but I don’t see Kyrie going anywhere… I think he wants the full experience playing with AD.
What the hell is going on? No Rui, No Reaves, Lebron banged up but playing, and the Lakers STILL get the win over a good Clippers team and are now the 2 seed. The ceiling appears to be getting higher and higher
A ref crew with two chicks. Just brutal.
Whistles blowing when guys are running back down the court, 7 second lag. An elementary school crew
They haven't lost to a team with an above .500 record since about the middle of January.
Not worried, about seeding anywayJust keep winning. Worrying about seeding with 23 games left is putting the cart before the horse.
Apparently, they tried for Duren before the Williams deal, but the Pistons weren't interested. Don't know if that's something that could be revisited this summer, as the Pistons have no need to move him IMO.
it’s ashame
Ya think? Lol.
Nor everyone is Nico.
Dude is averaging a double double and his defense has taken off this year. Take a hell of a lot more than that pile of trash the Lakers offered.
Yeah, that seems weird. If you win a challenge, you should keep it, imo. Maybe they'll adjust that?
Did I say it was likely?
Let's not act like Nico is an awful GM. His owner handcuffed him with that Luka trade situation; trading away a player of that stature while having to keep it quiet. He traded during the draft for Lively. He traded for Gafford. He traded for Kyrie. He had been on a hot streak with trades prior to that one.
He needed it
he needed it
Knecht is clearly a one way guy and Reddish is trash, just saying it is the type of shit the Lakers try to get by with.
Williams was only available for that because the dude cannot stay healthy to save his life.

I don't know what the offer was for Duren, so sure? Reddish was only in there for Williams as expiring matching salary. An unprotected post-Lebron first previously was a hot target, likely less so with Luka in tow (provided he stays, which seems likely). That combined with their recent 1st round selection is what they had left after the Luka deal. What do you think they were holding back, lol?
It's not that they "try" to get by with offers like that; it's what they have to offer. If you don't try, you don't get into discussions that end up with Luka in LA.

Plus a first round pick!
Better players have been traded for less.
Your first round picks are worse than 2nds from Washington or Charlotte.
Irrelevant. It's still a first round pick.
At the time of the nixed trade that would have been in the top 15-20
No, the first round pick was in 2031 maam
You dont trade your starting center for a pick 6 years from now.
So yes, as per stated, the offer was trash.
