Chet is a much better 3rd option than Austin Reaves regardless of how many games he has played up until now.

Only way to take that is who has the best 3rd option on their roster. Not who has done more this season.

I now that's to be expected, but look at the numbers. Chet was good for 16/8/6 last year. AR is at 19/4/6 this year, and even better since DLo was traded. Not as much of a gap as you'd expect.

Isn't that a reason to question their ability to get the job done in the postseason? Injuries are the ultimate equalizer. Regular season is just the appetizer.
Look dude, this whole stupid argument is about who has a third option better than Reaves, for some unreal reason. The Thunder have at least one guy that is. End of argument.

So we are just looking at one end I guess? Come on, be better.

Only if you completely ignore defense.

1 Is a very good defender, the other is not.

Did you respond to the wrong post? You quoted a comment about questioning if the Thunder were for real and responded about AR.

As far as AR goes, Is 16/8/6 better than 19/4/6? Certainly not by a wide margin, especially if you factor in availability.

Are points rebounds and assists all we use to evaluate a basketball player?

Austin Reaves is good.

But you are better than this.

I'm not arguing he's better. I'm arguing it's not a blow out in comparison.

Ok…

But we were all commenting on Pat Beverly who claimed the Lakers had the best 3rd and 4th options in the NBA.

That is a truly insane take.

Not even the biggest Laker homer in the world actually believes that.

It’s close to as big of a blowout as it can be. One will be a perennial all star and have multiple chances at awards. One will not. I love Reaves, west to my school. But this is beyond dumb.

Which has helped his team more this year?

It's Pat Bev. I didn't even read the article when it popped up as I assumed it was going to be the opposite take, given his defensive leanings. He's not even consistent in his bat-shit craziness.
