The heck are you talking about over those 5 years it went from 34.1 to 35.1 (did you see the link?). Then it jumped to 37.5 this year. 2019 to 2020 it jumped from 32.0 to 34.1

Boston Celtics. Outside of that there is no real difference. I came to my conclusion by looking at the attempts of the top 5 teams then look at the teams attempts. Only thing that stood out is the Celtics increase in attempts from last season to this

Good for you. I'm talking about the whole league. It's been a steady increase since the 3 became legal, with a few years of plateauing like 2020-2024...then a big jump this year to by far the highest ever, 37.5 vs 22.4 the first Warriors title year

I’ve done way more digging into the numbers than you and it’s not the whole league. It is mainly one team. The numbers this year is not far off when you look at the other 29 teams. Of course there’s going to be a clear jump when the team who led the league in attempts last year decided to attempt to 5-6 more threes per game this season

The Celtics alone are not what prompted Draymond's comment, which MANY posters here have echoed.

It's the right thing to do from a winning standpoint. But it perhaps has gotten to be too much.

He's hardly the only person saying the game has become too reliant on the 3 pointer. It wasn't boring at first, it was new. It's not new anymore.

Even the more reasonable posters here have mused about getting rid of the corner 3, for example.
Who are these reasonable posters you speak of? Hmmm.

And the nba being all top secret about it won’t let tnt interview them about it. Good job cadaver man.

I’m okay with the DQ.

Not letting that interview happen is just terrible.

That man way overstepped.

Also tells me that maybe Chris Paul’s interpretation of the rules might just be correct with how they were written.

Why else would the interview get shut down?

I think that is the only explanation. Now the question is can they keep them from expressing their opinion after?
