You’re throwing him on short rest and it’s the third game in a row so your pen might be taxed

Plus it means cole is out for game 7 since it’s the next day

Not sure about the pitching edge. The Yankees definitely have the edge on starting pitching, but I'm pretty sure the Dodgers have the better bullpen.

Overall, very evenly matched teams. I think the Yankees take at least 2 of 3 in NY.

Cade was dominating in the 3rd. Atkinson called a TO and they locked down after that

I mean, this happened often with the last coach (I also noticed atkinson yelling to refs a lot like every coach does). Not like he ended many games with TOs left.

If nothing else I love that now if we lose it's more likely the blame will fall on the players where it should.

If nothing else I love that now if we lose it's more likely the blame will fall on the players where it should.

sure you could say that about any good or bad coach ever. The point Atkinson isn’t afraid to make change or adjustments at any point in the game. Bickerstaff rarely did it. Not shitting on Bickerstaff, he did a nice job and brought the Cavs back into the spotlight but he had some clear weaknesses and stubbornness that gave this team a ceiling.

It’s early but the offense has come to life and early on we see he isn’t afraid to change things up in game

Not sure what you mean about blame. It depends on the circumstance.
