Guys, I’ve solved all the lakers problems in one move:

Invent time travel and don’t do the Russ deal

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk

Got around to listening to my heat podcast and basically nothing changed since the summer when it comes to Jimmy. Also the Heat are completely fine with riding this out because the teams with cap space for Jimmy in the summer aren’t contenders so even if Jimmy ends up going to a winning/contending team in the summer then it will still likely require sign and trade. Trade is the least likely of the 3 options

Very limited cap space

I’m curious if a team like the spurs would be interested

Only them the nets and pistons project to have any meaningful cap space

I can do better: Dr. Buss sells the team from his deathbed, leaving his children out of the picture.

The results of that move are completely buyer dependent whereas not signing Russ is self evident. I mean Gores could have bought the Lakers instead of the Pistons.

I just always find in funny when non-regulars come on here and assume everyone are children because we like the current NBA.

To be fair this place throttled between 85 and 12 and any given time…
