And most importantly…the GM that gets the third pick is set up for failure . The fan base will be thinking “3rd pick” and essentially they get to take Chandler Parsons or some other similar bust who will fail and settle into a 10-15 minute a night role player.

I’m not sure 2 seasons can really be considered a tank but in any event I think something can be said for making it quick.

Get what you are saying but likely some players taken 3rd or later will be all stars.....choosing the right one? Different story (and likely wont need to be as high as 3 to get whoever it is).
