All the talk about the Celtics road and that team got the lakers without Malone

Was rewarded for starting the malice at the place with a slap on the wrist and no ron artest

In the first round they got the bucks without Tim Thomas and tj ford

And faces the nets without Alonzo mourning

So yeah….they had some nice luck there

Every title involves luck including all Celtics titles. Maybe not the Bill Russell ones as much, that was just being the only stacked superteam.

Facts are the 2004 Pistons were the least talented team to win a title, with no superstars of any note. GOAT coaching and really smart players playing good defense.

That said, Sheed's comment there is retarded.

Sure

Don’t disagree

They just got especially lucky the last 2 rounds of their run

Nuggets better fire those people asap
It’s sad how it ended in OKC for him. He was given 17 minutes a game for the rest of the regular season and he was just lost. He’s cooked.

So between Charlotte and OKC he forgot how to play? Or a starter struggled to adjust to coming off the bench....which is it?

He was totally and completely lost, running around out there with primo athletes and he wouldn’t shoot open shots. OKC gave him every chance to succeed.

The Lakers have to pay him for 2 more years. I don't know what the rules are and if they have to keep paying him if someone else hires him.

Either way, if I'm him...I'm in no hurry. I'm making HC money for 2 years and can take some time to look for exactly the right opportunity. He can always get an a job as an assistant.

Sheed is flat stupid for thinking they could have beat the ‘17 Warriors.

The best version of those Pistons teams weren’t as good as the ‘17 Cavs or the ‘17 Spurs.

Idk about stupid but yes it is highly unlikely those Pistons beat the 17 Warriors.
