He has been exceptional though. Watching Halliburton has often left me feeling like this is what Jason Kidd would have been with a plus jumper. It’s a shame that the other defensive pieces around him are subpar or his on ball defense would stand out more. He’s on a pace to be arguably the best two way player in the NBA in maybe 2-3 years.

Really pissed that Morey only had eyes for Harden in 2021-22. Indiana was a team with Simmons interest. 3 way deal where Sabonis still goes to the Kings, Simmons to Pacers, and Halliburton and Hield to the Sixers would have the Sixers right now one of the best teams in the NBA.

Oh...I am not denying he hasn't been exceptional....just want to see a bigger sample size.

Good comparison to Kidd....Kidd turned into a better distance shooter later in his career.
