going to the Lakers?if I'm Lamelo Ball I'm considering the Lonzo route.
Clears waivers today, so we'll see if he chooses LA or Dallas. And in the post game press conference D-Lo said we will be seeing him soon....

Defense clearly optional in that first half. Lakers have an excuse (all of their non-AD defenders are injured and AD was in early foul trouble), although they often opt for the ole! defense anyway. Seems odd that the Pelicans were being lauded for their defense in the lad in to this game.Real defensive struggle in LA.
Lakers up 87-74 at halftime.
Lebron:
I'm gonna wait until 1001 so I can fuck over all the prop bettors.
God made me this way Lebron its not my fault. Stop punishing me
Almost got caught slipping on Porter Jr being out. dude was probable. But here I was hawking whether Lebron and AD playing.
this shit gotta stop man. If Philly catches 75k then LA should get fined for their Belichick injury report.
I figure it just ends up being Murray talks again, or maybe someone else that decides they want out by the summer. I can't see the Lakers having the winning bid for someone like Mitchell.Nice! The Sixers can send 4 but I don’t think any of those guys actually fit around Embiid/Maxey without taking away from Maxey.
NOBODY is worth 3 1st rounders?Yea, a lot of the talk around a summer signing for the Lakers is including three number ones.
I don't care who it is, have not the Lakers learned anything that the grass is def not greener anywhere and nobody is worth three frikin number ones??!!

All of the young players they had or future players they were going to have through yielded draft picks they gave up to get somebody has become almost a monument to imagining a player to be the "answer" to quenching that perennial inch to get another ring!
I was going to push on the opposite, that having two of those 3 picks as 2029 and 2031 at the very end of the tradeable range won't really move the needle for sellers trying to make a rebuild with any kind of urgency. Buying into the idea of the Lakers bottoming out hasn't been consistently proven out over the years, really just the post-Kobe years (and the Lakers didn't trade those picks).NOBODY is worth 3 1st rounders?

I think Utah is building around Mark, no?Teams who are stocked the next few years will. Teams typically don’t want more than 2 or 3 first rounds in basically any draft
Easier to spread out the risk and extensions
Idk if you could get mark for your 3 tradebale picks
But Utah is a team that could be interested
But basically any smart team would
Portland has a few smaller pieces but guys who can be major players on a finals team

The Lakers '29 1st rounder is a prized asset from what I have read.I was going to push on the opposite, that having two of those 3 picks as 2029 and 2031 at the very end of the tradeable range won't really move the needle for sellers trying to make a rebuild with any kind of urgency. Lonzo has shown players can improve their outside shooting. Wiggy ragged on him pretty hardcore when the Lakers selected him.Ultimately Portland will have to decide between 2 of the 3 guards and deal the other. Unless Scoot keeps shooting like this then his value will suck lol

LOL.
The good news is the league owes us lotto luck and we could avoid losing in the 2nd round. So the Sixers better win today or this shit is gonna get even uglier than it is right now. Sixers have Washington tonight and then…
Cavs, Heat, Knicks, Cavs, Bucks, Celtics to close out February. They’ve lost 8 of their last 9 games.
