This continuing narrative about the Lakers holding back their 2029 pick to make a pick with 3 1sts over the summer needs to die. There are too many teams that can trump those 3 1sts if any big names become available. It would take a player trying to force his way to the Lakers for the 3 picks to matter as a package.

Hard foul does nothing. Have to break something on his body more than a finger or else when Joel Embiid comes back the next guy will just hurt him again. Need to send a message that you stay the fuck away from Embiid or you lose an eye and a leg. Otherwise there isn't much interest in a championship here.

The 2nd apron teams have TPEs that basically are unusable after Thursday, since they won't be able to use them when the rest of the new rules kick in at the start of the new league season. Boston has decent sized one from the Grant Williams trade. Warriors have 2 small ones, as do the Clips. Suns have an assortment of them.
