Yeah he has a minute restriction but the team is loaded and rolling with Mitchell. Obviously if you can get a wing for him you deal him. It won’t happen though

Murray and Bog for Garland?

The fit for Atlanta is atrocious though lol

Draymon just showed that consuling did work

His rook got thrown to the floor by Claxton ( likely flagrant 2) and he didn't overreact

In that double OT game with the Lakers, things got heated and there were a couple of times I thought sure he was about to do something to get tossed...but he held it together.

7 RPG a game for 7'1 dude ain't great since his the center. Not a KD situation where he is playing SF
He has work to do being more aggressive. But his presence is felt on the defensive end, big time. Thunder need a rebounder, no doubt about it.

If Chet is gonna be off ball rim protection and challenge shots, that’s gonna sacrifice rebound numbers. 7 RPG isn’t bad for a rookie asked to be the team’s rim protection.

Lakers youth had they not traded it for AD vs Thunder youth.

When the consensus was Lakers youth fell short, @DJ played the “ We won a chip using all that youth to trade for Davis and your team doesn’t have a ring “ card.

He ain’t wrong.

But, I don’t think that was the debate.

It’s impossible to even make a fair comparison…imo

How the fuck can you try to rate Lonzo based on his draft projection knowing his injury history over the last few years?

I loved J Dub at Santa Clara.

But, I didn’t think he would be ……THIS…so soon.
I only brought us up trading the young talent we had resulting in a ring because Thunder is acting like they are on the verge of a dynasty with multiple titles and his young team hasn't even seen the 1st round of the playoffs yet.

And if you go to the beginning of that discussion @shopson67 was the one who said the Lakers young talent was on par with the Thunder.

I never did.

Russell, Ingram and Randle (3x) have all been all-stars, as well as Garland (would've been the #4 pick had LA kept the pick). Dyson Daniels is also part of that trade, as is one more 1st rounder TBD (this summer or next). Lonzo was derailed by injury of course. KCP was on those pre AD teams, as was Josh Hart, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, Alex Caruso, Jordan Clarkson, Gary Payton II, and Larry Nance Jr. Let's not pretend the roster was not loaded with young talent.
Here you go, @Mecca.

if for nothing else Troy Weaver should be fired if he doesn't trade at least Bojan. But also Harris and Burks.

I get the argument in keeping the latter two for cap space however.

Wasn’t seen as enough to build around. Jdub and Holmgren are those guys though.

Lakers have always seeked to build around stars, so they were never going to wait out the process with Lebron available and interested. We'll see soon enough if Williams and Holmgren are those guys, and both have had great starts and appear headed in that direction.

I mean, Ingram is really good but who are the others who match up with Shai, Chet and Jalen Williams? Even Giddey.

OK...I guess maybe Lonzo without the injury luck.

Shai is a bit different, as he was acquired via trade where they gave up a superstar to get him in a package with picks.
