There are a lot of things that can derail that projection.

Chet definitely looks special at this point I will grant you...Injuries are everyone's concern.
I did happen to agree with his original comment the hype those guys would get in LA....but he seems to be going a bit overboard with some of these comparisons.

I could only imagine how good he'd think Ingram and Randle were if on OKC.

What you forget is I’ve followed this game for most of my considerable life. Saw about every game a couple of real superstars played with the Thunder. I’m not a fanboy, not close.

Not going to lie....they have done well in the post Bron era. Their GM learned a lot from Presti clearly.
a decent comparison but a little different here as we didn't have guys we could trade for a ton of picks in our rebuild. Maybe Love before he resigned and/or started getting hurt more, I guess. But he was not bringing back what the Thunder guys got.

To start the rebuild they made a lot of little trades that ended up being a huge part of the rebuild.

The Allen trade was a fleecing. Prince was included and then he was later flipped in the LeVert trade.
The Sexton pick was actually part of the Kyrie trade. So that was really the start right there. They just him and the Mark signing to get Mitchell.
Garland and Mobley picks. Could be lucky or other teams were just stupid.

Years of little trades that built the roster and a couple high draft picks honestly

They didn't trade Mark. He was in the Nance trade so really another trade right there. Hell of a trade

Oh, he definitely made some nice deals and, yes, Allen move fantastic. Still cannot understand why Houston did not want him for themselves.....but yay us.

Was just saying we don't have the treasure trove of picks OKC has.....not that doing it the way we have cannot work. Guess the only way we could have done that was if Lebron could have just let us know he was going regardless and moved him thinking not beating GS even with him?

Wishing harm on any player just brings bad luck to your team.

I can remember a few years ago RTK said he hoped Baker Mayfield injured his shoulder attempting a pass.

Well that same weekend his boy Carson Wentz while playing for the Colts somehow sprained both of his ankles.
Why would RTK have a single fuck to give about Carson Wentz once he left the Eagles?!?!?

Since we have a little Thunder talk going, was listening to a daily discussion on the Thunder on local radio today. The consensus is that Giddey is going to be moved. Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe are both signed through next season. I think it’s pretty obvious both can be real bench pieces on a serious contender. The consensus is that there is a small chance that Giddey will be moved this week, but that by July 1st it’s definitely happening so Wiggins and Joe can be resigned.

Why does this game against the Hornets feel like disappointment?

Two fantastic away wins against the Celtics and Knicks, and now they're probably going to get their ass beat by a 10-38 team
