There's that too, but tough to tell as he hasn't really had a chance yet. He was the fall back when Schroder left for a starting job and Bruce Brown got bid up. The real error was years prior when they didn't keep Caruso.

Man, in a weird sort of way, this might actually be the way to get Embiid to the playoffs healthy haha. He’s on the shelf for the next 6-7 weeks. Then he gets 6-10 games to get himself back to playing strength and conditioning on a minutes restriction of like 24-28 minutes and then he’s good to go on playoffs.

It will be a tough path as a 6 seed or even a play in team.

It's basically what happened for the Lakers last year with AD. He only played in 56 regular season games but was healthy in time for the playoffs.
