You do realize that people CAN die from the common cold right? No recovery time from death mister google doctor. That being said, no, a meniscus tear is not significant enough to "shit embiid down" for the rest of the year. You do realize that is a significant injury right?
Recovery can be up to 9 months depending on severity.

I know exactly what I'm talking about about and I've had two acl surgeries, and MCL surgery, and have had several meniscus clean ups. You don't just say, shut him down for the season from a meniscus tear, especially without even waiting to hear from the doctors. That's a stupid hot take, and defending this hot takes is equally stupid. That is total BS. You don’t know what you are talking about here.
Why don’t you research that injury a little bit.
People can sometimes play through partial tears without missing much time.
But more complete tears require surgery and a time frame of months, not weeks.
You are wrong.
Pretty funny that the only person here that has done that is actually a fan of that dynasty.Hyping the Thunder like they the next dynasty and shit.
Embiid has a long and torturous history with his knees as well. This is the second meniscus issue he’s had in this knee. He is likely having his second meniscus surgery on this knee. I think for the long term health of the man and the asset season ending surgery should be the path. That is total BS. You don’t know what you are talking about here.

Yep. I’m now shifting my perspective and thinking Wow! The Sixers actually got a lot more out of their Greg Oden than anyone should have ever expected.Seems way too early to call it one way or the other. But at the risk of repeating myself I don't think we will ever really see a fully healthy Embiid come the playoffs. Damn shame because he's a top 5 in the league talent...obviously. Best ability is availability and all that.
