I get the disappointment. I wanted to see the matchup too. Sixers fans know that the late scratch of Embiid has happened 6/7 times before. A low key layer of Embiid eventually begging out of Philly is that medical staff whose tactics haven’t delivered a healthy dude to playoffs despite putting him in position to take the smoke.

I am not a salary cap or lux tax nerd so let me know what you think. I am thinking it is maybe because Reaves is on such a good contract. Last offseason people were speculating he could get 4 years and 80-100 mill.....well he didn't.

You just answered your own question. He's not an All-Star and may never get there (too many really good guards), but he's not too far off. So, they get high level play (especially considering how well he fits) but they're not paying AS money for him.

Herro and Butler playing together just hasn't been working out lately. Hate to say it, but I think Robinson should start instead and have Herro lead the 2nd unit.

Terry, Jimmy, Duncan, Jaime, and Bam should start. I'm gonna keep saying it, I really think this team needs another big starting next to Bam. I was all for Porzingis to Miami.
