The “narrative” is for stupid people who can’t see that you could play this matchup in China or Greece and Embiid would still out play him head to head. This is a great matchup for Embiid.
Yet he's afraid of him in Denver?

Embiid has averaged 41/13 in his last three games vs Jokic?!?!?

Funny how those all came on his home court, of course considering he hasn’t won a game in Denver in 7 years maybe he’s scared.

Or do you think the reason he’s never made it past the 2nd round is he’s always concerned with potentially having to play in Denver for at least 3 games if they were to make the finals so he always loses focus?

It’s crazy that Jokic only has 9 shot attempts at this point. He doesn’t even need a switch to have a mismatch every time down the floor.
Maybe they will take away his Finals' MVP trophy for that performance?

Then turn pro

The ncaa rules are clear

Hence money laundering
They are a lot less clear now, as the NCAA is transitioning to what you want (a pro league)

In theory but the College aspect is not going away. It is needed for success.

The answer is obvious to all. The simplest explanation is likely the explanation. Dude is always hurt.

So, it's just a coincidence that he's been hurt every time he's had to play in Denver, but is healthy when Jokic comes to Philly...for 5 straight years?
The problem is never “the facts”. I’m not squabbling with your fact. Why do I have to explain this to you? The problem is your loosely drawn conclusion that he’s ducking a guy that he outplays every single time they meet. Paul Reed put 30 on him. People talk about him caring too much about narrative and MVP and blah blah blah. But you think it’s a calculated move for him to fuel a negative narrative about him?!?!? It makes no sense. It’s just flat out intellectually lazy on your part.

It’s not about the “fact”. That isn’t in dispute. It’s about the poor conclusion you’ve drawn. I’d like to think you’re better than that.

Or, you're making excuses for a guy who's ducked out for 5 straight years.

I’m not defending shit. I’m saying I’d love for him to play all 82 and be healthy for the playoffs. Why would I come at Jokic for missing a game or games when I have enough fodder to use when I point to real times they’ve taken the floor against each other.

Embiid has averaged 41/13 in his last three games vs Jokic?!?!?

Okay, maybe less defending and more like making up lame excuses.

Same condition exists for KAT, Gobert, Jokic, AD…hmmmm…what do all three of those guys have in common?

Yeah? Have any of them missed playing against Jokic in Denver for 5 straight years?

If the situation were reversed, you be on here dogging Jokic daily. Seems hypocritical.

Why would I think that? I’m a sports fan. I’m not a narrative guy.

You guys are the worst sports fans. Front runners. I don’t even think most Denver fans watch sports. They just vomit narratives and flock to the other people front running.

At this point I’m honestly wondering if he doesn’t have a case of Asthma of some sort that would obviously be worse at elevation and they don’t want to disclose it. It’s gotten very weird.

Not sure how it will work for CBB but for football I'm pretty certain we're heading for a world where maybe 64-ish teams form a full pro league, they will keep the college names and uniforms and histories and rivalries and stadiums, and players will have the option of attending the schools, but it will not be required. Those teams will be a pro league. Schools that aren't in the 'big league' will still have football but it will go back to being just another sport like it is at the Ivy League schools. Then hopefully the rest of the NCAA can detach from football and go back to regional conferences for the other sports.

Obviously don't know all the details but this is where I see it going.

Maybe but I doubt it. It could just result in a beta cuck Cavs fan flexing on a championship some other fanbase celebrated. That could happen.

Yeah I’m not going there, the college experience isn’t going away anytime soon

Didn't read the whole thing?

"and players will have the option of attending the schools, but it will not be required."

You may not be going there but they sure seem to be. Instead of AFC vs NFC it'll be 32 team Big10 vs 32 team SEC

Just pointing out the facts and it's doubtful he cares all that much about 1 game his team won in January.

I can see why you may not care to talk about anything title related when it comes to basketball though and prefer to talk about games your hero keeps ducking (and cucking?)

Exactly. Time to make it official in a few years. They have started paying players and have a pro-style 12 team playoff bracket now

It’s your narrative. Say anything you want. Or better yet…keep it to yourself if you don’t want people to comment on the stupid process you put on display.

You took Fact A and then just ignored getting from B to C to D etc… and just jumped to conclusion J or some shit with no reason or logic.
Or, you're making excuses for a guy who's ducked out for 5 straight years.
Just prove the reason he’s missed games is that he’s scared of a dude he averages 41 against.
Okay, maybe less defending and more like making up lame excuses.

Oy vey. Now I have to read for you too? I wasn’t commenting on any of those guys missing games vs Denver. I commented that the home/road conditions exists for more than just Jokic with Embiid and they all happen to be Western Conference centers because when you’re getting an off injured player rest you’re not prioritizing out of conference games. Now I’ll add this. There’s one freaking game of 82 that applies to this criteria. So if they sit him more often non-conference it’s not a surprise this condition exists.
If the situation were reversed, you be on here dogging Jokic daily. Seems hypocritical.
Should we really respect anything you think “seems” when you’ve just put on display your poor process when drawing conclusions? Bad look.
