Didn’t he have a serious surgery after that?

You might be able to add Simmons for Giddey and a contract? The Nets might add some 2nd rounders to facilitate the deal.

LOL.

Eventually. I don’t think we ever got the real story. Some were saying he had an ATV accident that went unreported because it would have violated his contract that messed the shoulder up and the new shot was a way for him to shoot with less pain. Others talk about him working with a new shot doctor that totally fucked him up and that the new form led to the shoulder issues.

Who knows. Just another Sixers Story

You think the nets are also lying about his surgeries?

I think it's better to go with it than have to fight him like Philly did.

Emotional issues followed by the hardest injury to disprove.

Like Thunder said....probably more of a pain tolerance deal.

I’m sure he had a surgery of some sort at some point, all kinds of arthoscopic deals they can do to try to help pain.

I don't doubt that part.

But he's not Larry Bird out here.

Tall people tend to have back aches. It's a thing.

Neither his, nor Birds, competitiveness are within question. They are just at opposite ends of the spectrum. And spectrum might be a word Simmons knows well. .

I'm just referring to Bird in the sense that his career was ended to a back injury

Ben on the other hand manages to be day to day for half the season.

It's either debilitating or it isn't.

But back is the perfect injury to do this shit with...foggy timelines and all.

Thunder in San Antonio for a national Chet vs Wemby game. Chet been way too tentative lately, hoping he comes out of that tonight.

Yeah, curious how they messed with their shot

I don't know how it would play for a jumper but I'd imagine it's very painful. It can be career ending for a pitcher.

I always think of Jeremy Bonderman of Detroit with this injury. He was peaking and it pretty much destroyed him.

not sure If there is a line on it now but it would be a solid futures bet that Ben is an all star next year

But Vegas is hip to this shit and it prob wouldn't be as good as you think.

and then after his all star year the Charlotte Hornets will pay him 4 years 100 million...then he will have an emotional breakdown and talk about how his teddy molested him as a child or something and play like 115 games over 4 years
