His shooting has had issues in certain series...certainly. But it's funny how we want to scapegoat the wrong guy sometimes.

He got benched in crunch time, was unplayable in the 4th. He was targeted repeatedly on defense and had to be benched as a result.

Um, he was a first round pick in the 2023 draft, so he fits that bill if we're including 2023 picks. I understand if he's not viewed as a strong prospect at this moment as he needs development for sure, but he is a 1st rounder. I don't see the appeal to the Hawks though, as they drafted Kobe Bufkin a few picks before JHS went to the Lakers.
