Yeah I could see Presti doing a smaller deal like this. They come to the OKC tomorrow, maybe they will leave him here.

Hey @Mecca you see that the Thunder have 10 straight games shooting over 50%? Hasn’t been done since 1993. That’s some serious stuff.

I keep seeing more and more Murray stuff for the Lakers (probably Klutch trying to get more teams involved for their client). Woj today said that the Hawks reached out to the Lakers. And I just don't like it. He was good defensive player for like a season and a half for SA. He has not been great since. His offense is suspect. He's not gonna be the fix/fit around Lebron they think he's gonna be. I'd only be interested if either

1) It's somehow a deal that basically amounts to a D'lo for Murray swap
2) The deal somehow brings back Bogdanovic as well

With the first, Murray is an upgrade over D'lo but it's still not gonna make a massive difference. If its 2, you'd be improving the team a decent amount. Bogi is the type of player that needs to be around Lebron for the offense to thrive.

Same logic for me with Lavine and the Bulls. Lavine isn't gonna help them for a variety of reasons but if the deal could somehow include Caruso as well, I'd be open to it. But all these deals getting thrown around where its just Murray or just Lavine, they're not gonna help either short or long term

On NBA Live today somebody said the Hawks would want Reaves....and if that happened the Lakers would need to include Hach and get Murray and Bog. Along with the '29 1st and '30 pick swap going out most likely. Plus other filler. The last 2 were not mentioned.

Murray is a way better 2 way player than Lavine since Zach's defense is non-existent.

Your Superstar is shooting 55 % from the field this Season.

FIFTY FRICKING FIVE.

32, 6 and 6 are MVP caliber stats.

I don’t care about that it’s not his turn, it’s to early in his career shit.

He finished top in the MVP race as a play in team.

If they win the West?

Derek Rose skipped the line, could happen again.

I’m a big Murray fan.

I like Reaves.

But, not enough to justify not landing Murray, especially if he comes with Bogdonavic or Capela.

Also, which I see as the biggest sticking point, you’d have to give
up both picks.

Now, I understand the Hawks are trying to recoup assets.

But, I wouldn’t do it when I could just go to Portland and get Brogdon.

Trade them some filler and a few 2nd rounders.
