to be fair I wouldn't call this a typical lie like @fightinfunbags keeps offering as it was just an opinion by you and not a factually incorrect comment. Just wanted to see if you really believed your opinion.

no one would make a 10k bet on Allen not making the all star team to make 10 dollars

and Vegas would never post odds on Thompson so it's a theoretical discussion meaning nothing.

My point regarding Pittsburgh is that their odds suck..yet are still 10 times better than what you're giving me and Vegas wins on 12 other superbowl future bets besides the Steelers and the winner.

and my point is a guy who is arguably playing better this year than his actual all star season and will likely be no worse than top 10 in overall voting (starters/reserves...where likely 7 make it) has far better than "no chance" to make the game.

But as I said maybe I saw the Brady Bunch "exact words" episode too much growing up and could have just let it go.

It's hard to believe that they confirmed the call on Brown the play before was not a foul.

That was decent contact to the head... and getting hit in the head before the shot is released absolutely affects a shooter.

I gotta say for Allen---- when he is hurt they usually dont play well.

They can play well without Mitchell on certain nights, Garland on certain nights, Mobley etc.....but it seems whenever Allen is hurt they struggle.

I think people really underestimate Allen's defensive contribution too--- over his last 7 he is literally at like 21 pts, 16 boards, 5 assists, 63% shooting and top 5 DPOY defense......he will get some attention if he can stay even close to where he has been lately.

I don’t think people are underestimating that.

It is just that defense doesn’t get you to the all star game unless you are a DPOY name and/or play for a top contender.

Especially now that they pick 3 “frontcourt players” instead of traditional centers.
