You hate to hear knee though (being real now) especially for a 7 footer with a history. I just want him ready for playoffs. Additionally, it’s good to know now before they make moves and commit to a run this year if Embiid is going to miss considerable time. They said “knee swelling”. I don’t think they can even begin to assess what’s what until that swelling subsides. Gonna be a tense couple of days before word comes out.

That is why he got an indefinite suspension and mandated counseling sessions before he could return.

And still, none of this is comparable to PED use, guns in the locker room or brawling with fans.

Any one of Draymond’s incidents carry a 1 or 2 game suspension by themselves. It is the pattern that caused a bigger reaction from the league.
