They really aren’t. There are 6 guys that should actually be in a playoff rotation on a real contender. Pat Bev Morris RoCo BBall Paul ( as a back up 5 the way he’s being used) Korkmaz Springer (right now) House Bamba KJ Martin aren’t going to be playable in the playoffs for where they currently are now. They need a trade to get that number up to 8ish. Last night they were missing 1.5 of those 6. He has to substitute.

I understand wanting to reward guys with an accolade.

But I think just as important for the guys who make the team to actually get to play.

It is impossible to give 12 guys meaningful minutes while also giving the fans what they want with heavy minutes for the superstars.

Add 3 more players and it just gets messy.

None.

That was a procedural move by the NBA a few years ago to make it easier for teams to juggle actives and inactives seamlessly.

Every year there are multiple guys playing 10 minutes or less with 12. We don’t need to expand rosters and muddy that even more.
