We use the quarter system. My next end of grades situation is the third week of January. That’s why I plan the schedule to be able to utilize Christmas break to grade. If I didnt, I would be rushing through shit and then what’s the point of me having them do it if I can’t dig in and give them meaningful feedback to get better.
That must be a private school thing... here in public school land, we had to have grades finalized before the Christmas Break, so no pesky grading for me.
My busy grading season will begin once we get back through AP testing time.

Batum was the only guy that I actually had interest in other than Mann. That was me watching them from afar. Now that I see Batum on the floor and all the shit he does to make for winning basketball I’m just enamored. Batum alone fits this team better than Harden and I actually loved the Harden/Embiid two man game. Dare I say it…Maxey/Embiid two man game may not be there right now but in time Maxey/Embiid two man game is gonna be better than Harden Embiid. Maxey shoots the 3 better and Maxey has elite quickness to the hole that Harden doesn’t have anymore. Embiid power and finesse with Maxey’s speed is just a recipe to put defenders in a bind.

Take it all together... these Celtics don't even have to shoot the ball particularly well on any given night. Basically, if the Celtics just shoot in the upper below average range from downtown (make roughly 1 out of 3 from distance), they've been unbeatable.
