Since he won’t participate… I think their best 5 would entail having to make Chet the starting 5. I’d take Kiddey out of the starting lineup and regular season he runs the 2nd unit. Dort, SGA, Jal Williams, Lauri, Chet. My playoff bench would be Kiddey, Jay Williams, Isiah Joe, Kenrich Williams

That’s a really talented group that can grow together and gain some playoff experience this year. It’s hard for young teams to win championships but they could definitely make a deep playoff run out of the West with that group.

Any chance the Mass Holes at the Ringer do it again this year? They went on a Jaylon Brown is All NBA spam media campaign last year that resulted in a gigantic overpay. It looks like they’re doing the same thing with Derrick White this year on the precipice of a new deal. I think he’s on a trajectory to being a 30 million dollar a year player at this rate and that becomes guaranteed if a media campaign gets him on the All NBA team. I love the dude but he’s not one of the top 6-7 guards in the game.

I pray every day that the Lakers make the LaVine deal just so that Angel of Death passes over Darryl Morey and the Sixers.

How much do I hate the idea of Lavine? You know how much I covet Caruso. I wouldn’t even do the Lavine deal if Caruso was cooked into it. Lavine is just all wrong for the Sixers. Watching the Bulls get better with Lavine out has me even more convinced.

Focusing just on Derrick White... he's definitely deserving of being in the all-star conversation for this season.

ppg would be the biggest place that he is likely lagging versus the competition. But he is a better defender than any competitor, too... possibly a much better defender.

... more than any other consideration, the Celtics should be focused on winning a Championship this year, next year or both.

Great play from D-White aiding that goal is more important than D-White hurting our future cap with his great play.

We'll see. I know Zach LaVine has been mentioned, but I saw an article yesterday or Wednesday that said that, while they are interested in a couple of Bulls players, they aren't that interested in LaVine because they think acquiring him helps the Bulls (cap relief) more than it would help them.
