I'm a little more bullish on the T-Wolves and Magic because they are more physical teams than OKC.

Muscle may be less important than it used to be... but it still matters, especially in the playoffs (IMO).

I tend to be a bit suspicious of teams that have underperformed and then suddenly seem to "click". Not that it doesn't happen, it just seems like most often you see teams building, learning and improving each year ala the Warriors and currently OKC or who use big trades/FA signings.

But I think OKC actually has the advantage over Minny in the playoffs because we have already seen the blueprint on how to run Rudy right off the floor.

Improvements in Minny have been gradual.

Take out the Himmie Butler year and they hadn’t sniffed the post season until the great Patrick Beverley dragged them there.

Now, this top of the West Standings shit is a giant leap for both them and OKC.

But it’s still early.

Other teams are still rounding into form and some might make some significant changes.

If I’m not mistaken, weren’t the Pels and Utah near the top last year?

I don’t expect either of those teams to fall off a cliff second half of the Season.

But I also don’t expect them to be the #1 seed out west either.

It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish.

1. Gonna cost a lot
2. Multiply number 1 by a greater factor because it’s Danny Ainge and he doesn’t do a deal unless he fleeces you.
3. I don’t like Lauri’s defense - like at all. He doesn’t have a position he can guard. He’s too soft to play 5s and he’s too slow to guard 3s and 4s.

Many Sixers fans are talking him up. I don’t think he fits. With Maxey already being offense first, I need a two way player to complete this Big 3.

You could say top 5 player and it's hard to argue he isn't a top 3 offensive player in this league.
