What is different for the Twolves this year is defense. Never seen them play good D like ever.

They look legit. Just might be too young to be a finals team just yet, but not out of the question.

Haha Im obviously messing around. Havent even watched many games yet. Going to Lakers game before New Years tho! Thatll be when I act like a true diehard.

But yeah, 100% on the D. When I do watch its very impressive. Depth does seem way better than past years as well. And Rudy getting back to form

Dubs are losing lots of games, and will continue doing so, but they aren't getting blown out.
They're playing just barely good enough to keep it close only to end up losing by small margins.
Not sure what that even means, if anything. But they look like a frustrated team right now, and frustrating to watch...that's for sure.

Shit is getting scary in Minnesota if they can beat a good team like the Mavs by 18 points when Ant goes 3-19 with single digit points. That team is really really good.
No Kyrie for Dallas... but, yeah, Minny has taken a big step forward this season.

They and Orlando seem like the real deal... meaning, they're not just regular season good... but could potentially make some noise come playoff time too.

If the Clippers are healthy when the playoffs start....this might be their year.

Harden can just be the playmaker with Leonard and PG the clutch performers.

The same mavs team just beat the lakers. They dont need kyrie to be a solid team. Luka is a top 10 player and probably a top 3 offensive player

Beating them by 18 in their house is a damn good win

Just saying it's not the same as if Irving was playing.

Few weeks ago I said the Wolves were a good team and seemed to have figured out a way for Kat and Gobert to coexist.

Who said it didn't? They beat the lakers without kyrie which shows they are more than capable of beating/competing with good teams.

18 point road win vs a good team is a hell of a win especially when your best player was bad

Maybe.

They are good, and they certainly have a lot of potential...

... however, I'm not necessarily betting on them in a playoff series yet... I guess it depends on the match-up. JMO.

Yeah, I'm taking a wait and see approach with OKC, the T-Wolves and Magic. Still remember the '07-'08 Rockets who had a 22 game win streak, won 55 games and lost in the 1st round.

I'm a little more bullish on the T-Wolves and Magic because they are more physical teams than OKC.

Muscle may be less important than it used to be... but it still matters, especially in the playoffs (IMO).
