March Madness is not a good product. People watch because of the 1 and done aspect in addition to the upsets. You may get a handful of games that's actually high quality basketball

I watch for those reasons and homestly, the gambling.

I’ll never forget it at the last second before the first game started I bet a 5 leg parlay. Thought I had took DePaul, but I guess I gave the number for the other team and I didn’t check it. As the buzzer went off and DePaul lost I double checked my ticket lol. I’ll also never forget because the big 12 went 10-0 in the first 2 rounds lol.

Used to be my favorite sporting event. Looked forward to the NCAA tournament more than anything else and I watched every game.

Just not the same. Hard to generate compelling story lines when the best players are only there for 1 year.

Imo, depends on how you watch it. I watch it because I love seeing the early upsets and close calls that cause chaos. The disparity in talent and "sloppy basketball" that causes that is part of the fun.
