The Sixers lost some bull dog attitude when Tucker left. Neither Tucker nor Pat Bev are going to give you strong basketball contributions that can be measured in a box score but they bring a relentless approach to being a teammate which can’t be measured. That stuff only goes so far. Tucker was a bull dog in the Celtics series but when the series turned with Mazz lineup change for Games 6 and 7, they made Tucker be a shot maker and he can’t do that anymore.

I think the NBA is incentivized to do what they can to make it go away. But you’re also battling that assumption. The court of public opinion is a bitter bitch that can turn on a dime. The absence of information can often become damning in and of itself.
