I keep expecting them to take a step back, but they just keep moving forward. The efficiency on the offensive end is just unreal at times, averaging over 30 assists the last several games. Isaiah Joe is locked in right now, and when you have Shai, Jalen, Giddey and Holmgren all making shots too? I know there will be bumps, but this is something to see.

It'll be interesting to see how they perform when the schedule gets tougher. But the 1st step in a young team's development is consistently beating the teams that they're supposed to beat.

So far, so good on that.

It will also be interesting to see how they respond to adversity like the offense being out of rhythm for a few games and/or a losing streak of more than a couple of games.

And for the record I do not expect the Thunder to be a play-in team. But, do not expect them to be a 4 seed like they are right now.....prolly 6th or so. And then next season take the next big leap to a top 3-4 team when they add a vet with a trade for some of them picks.

I mean that's usually how you become close to a 50 win team and a top 5 seed. Handle your business vs the losing teams and at home then try to play .500 ball away from home and against the winning teams

Something with the Thunder not mentioned yet is the play of rookie Cason Wallace. Limited playing time but he currently leads the league in 3pt percentage at over 54%. Presti may have done it again.
