Celtics had a good seaosn

Losing to a team you should beat by 40 is disheartening
Sixers are really good and at home. You think you're winning 70 games?

Competitive game in Denver...not sure if it's "good" though

Jokic went 1-8 from three and still scored 35 points, the Warriors are lucky they only lost by 3.

That TO the Dubs burned on their side out late in the 4th came back to bite them in the butt.
They could have really used it when they had the ball with 3.5 sec to go.
All good though....shit happens.....it's early in the season.

Tatum and Brown shot 10-27?

Embiid, Maxey, and Harris.
Then we have wings like Melton, Beverly, Covington, Batum, and Oubre to throw at them.

I'm seeing the light.
Don't want Mitchell/Lavine.
Get me Anunoby.

The Sixers were fortunate to pull it out against Boston last night. They nearly choked it at the end. But I am still very encouraged by the early returns of the Nick Nurse era. The team looks so much better than the Doc Rivers teams in terms of playing team defense and moving the ball.

The long defensive wings is something they’ve never had before vs this Celtics group. Tatum only got 14 shots up. Batum was giving him fits last night.

Yep. The finish left a sour taste reminding us we need to be careful in our desire to attain good things.

Sixers have been a dud as a FA destination. If they were ever in a spot to make something happen it’s summer. They’re the only contender with monster space it seems.

@fightinfunbags , @Sparhawk , @Iggloo

It was a nice win for Philly last night, and y'all certainly deserved the W. I thought Philly worked harder and wanted it more in this one.

(And I didn't think the game was quite as close as the final score indicated)

That said: Boston has to shoot the ball better than that. Though they're probably not as completely dependent on the 3 pt shot as past iterations of these Celtics... they're still a 3 pt shooting team primarily.

And Jaylen Brown played like dog sh!t. Yeah, he made a couple of shots towards the end... but by that point, it was too-little-too-late. That honestly might have been the worst game I've seen him play as a Celtic. Obviously, the $300 million dollar man gotta be better than that.

On a more positive note for the Celtics... matching up Jrue Holiday on Embiid was actually semi-effective. That was a fun strategy and battle. Watching Jrue a little more closely this year, it is a pleasure watching that dude play defense... not exactly the same but similar to watching Marcus Smart in his prime. Both are/were craftsmen on that end of the court, and tough as nails.
