No, it isn't
Much smaller gap if any
Maybe if you don't like advanced metrics

Others look strong in advanced metrics too, not just Jokic. The delta isn't as great as LeBron vs Rose that yearMaybe if you don't like advanced metrics

Not that significant really. It’s still a significant gap

Care to chime in on why Jokic looks so good there when his backup is either DeAndre jordan or Watson who shouldn't be playing C?
Is he that much better than Embiid, SGA, Luka vs how much better LeBron was than Rose?Jokic has led the league for 4 years running in PER, Offensive Win Shares, Overall Win Shares, Offensive Plus/MInus, Overall Plus/Minus and the old favorite VORP. He's also led the league for 3 years running in Defensive Plus/Minus.

You wanna bean count go aheadIs he that much better than Embiid, SGA, Luka vs how much better LeBron was than Rose?
WTF does that mean? Jokic is responsible for who plays when he's off the floor, lol?
Are you not aware of how these advanced stats are generated sir?
You have me confused with some of these others like funbags. I don't care that much, Jokic is certainly deserving. It is obvious to me though that his 'superiority' to the other contenders isn't very large and certainly less so than LeBron's superiority to Rose that yearI'm not doing that much math for you lol. It's not like you'd accept the stats anyway.
Its a piece of the puzzle, only in the +/-.
He's not a point guard. He's a center. Points, boards and defense. For a point guard its points, assists and defense.Convenient that you left out that Jokic was 3rd in assists, .8 behind Luka. Luka only scored more because he took 6 more shots per game. Jokic was the more efficient shooter of the two.
35, 9 and 10 isn't good enough apparently. Shooting 37% from distance.Of course Luka. He had an insane year. MVP. No one else is close.
Or add a TOY. Teammate of the Year. Goes to the guy that involves his teammates, Assist man.You have me confused with some of these others like funbags. This is the point of MVP awards by the way, the arguing. There's almost never a year when one player is so much more valuable than the others that there's no dispute. Jokic is a good choice, as SGA or Luka would have been.
One of the Denver fans suggested a really good idea, adding an Offensive POY award...there's already a DPOY and they have OPOY in football. Add that to the NBA and a lot of the arguing stops, sometimes the same guy wins both but then Russell Westbrook and James Harden can win OPOY and a better choice can be made for MVP those years.
Jokic would maybe be MVP this year with Luka OPOY. Or maybe SGA MVP and Jokic OPOY. OK I guess there will still be arguing LOL
I hope he was more efficient.Convenient that you left out that Jokic was 3rd in assists, .8 behind Luka. Luka only scored more because he took 6 more shots per game. Jokic was the more efficient shooter of the two.
