One day it will all make sense
Or maybe his supporting cast is overrated
Are you Jokics publicist by chance?
Or maybe his supporting cast is overrated
Talking about awards and who shoulda won
Does anyone have an issue with Conley winning NBA Mr. friendship?!?!?
If you're saying the vote should be on this year alone help me understand Jokic running away with MVP.
His defensive metrics are absurd and we've done that to death. If he was that dominant relative to the comp Denver would be unbeatable.
The NBA voters are getting extremely lazy.
Seems like a good hire, but so did ham
Both came from the bucks tree right?

None of the top 3 are defenders.
Denver has been a seemingly unstoppable force prior to these last 2 games (well after the MVP voting, BTW).
*Looks at standings and scratches head*
First of all, it's not a team award anyways. Is the 1 seed not high enough for you, two years running now?
So you may want to re read what I said here. I said I can live with him winning the award
...however I'm not okay with him running away with it
There is nothing I've seen this year that would indicate it was a one man season

A young team got much better
This is unprecedented
Fuck.Hornets hired Charles Lee as their new head coach.
Fuck.
Anyone else winning is rose over Lebron type stuff
He worked with Charlotte's GM before I believe.Rip to their young players careers…
Right…
But IMO that is as much or more because of the development of Chet, JDub and everyone else on the team as it is about SGA.
SGA was doing similar things last year.
I really don’t like when we try to credit one player for a team’s improvement. That type of thinking led to Chris Paul being an MVP finalist for the Suns a few years ago.
It would be one thing if the player in question had a major statistical jump that coincided with the team improvement. That isn’t what happened here.
He made an enormous leap last year and yes his cast got better
When have we ever given a player MVP on his first year where he takes that leap? Ever?
He is the leader of the team with the best record in the West. His VORP is like 3rd and it isn't inflated by the bullshit Jokics is.
As a basketball junkie I take great offense to Jokic being in such limited company of 3 time MVPS.
That inflated comment is laughably false
The positions have different stats treated differently, including pg
