The person you should be mad at is Mike Muscalla. In a pointless bubble game OKC outlasts the Heat and down the stretch Mike Muscalla hits back to back threes one of which was a buzzer beater walk off. If OKC loses that game the pick is protected and doesn’t convey to the Sixers.

The Sixers were lucky that Maxey is even there at 21. There’s no way without Covid killing his season and a chance for people to see him in the Tournament he lasts that long.

All’s well that ends well. Maxey benefitted more than anyone for both Harden trades. Working with Harden was instrumental for Maxey’s growth. And now it’s time for Harden to get the fuck out the way so that he can run the show.

If Fultz stuck around he would have been off ball and ran the 2nd group offense when he didn’t share the court with Simmons. Here’s what I know for sure. Brett Brown and Colangelo were dumb. Also, Orlando thought they were effectively trading a 2nd. That’s what the pick was set to become. When they make the deal, OKC is in post PG 13 hell and definitely projected for that being protected. It was a top 20 protection. Then CP3 turns them into something decent.

Looks like Harden isn't suiting up against the Lakers tonight!

If the Lakers are ever going to sneak a win against the Clippers, tonight would be the night. They lost a ton of depth the Lakers need to take advantage of.

Of course the Lakers gotta Lake tho!

Still depends on whether (or how much) Lebron, George and Leonard play. Rui probably out again, along with Vando.

I predicted a series win over the Clips this year but i'm still not overly confident.

While it is still early in the season, and there's absolutely no shame in losing to Denver and the Kings away from home, their shooting has gotten me frustrated again.

But hey, this team went 0-5 to start the season last year and still made the WCF. They've already topped that regardless of the outcome tonight (Gotta look at the silver linings, right?)

I expect them to target a power forward.

In a perfect world, it would be a defensive ace.

We have enough scoring.

But, they will probably target a tweener like Grant.
