I watch them all, just like you. You come into OKC right now you are a dog, just how it is.
And this game likely play out differently if the best offensive guard and top 3 offensive player in the league is out there. Luka matters

Bummer.

Sad news.

RJ Barrett's younger brother has passed away.

Love and prayers for RJ and his family.

Well I guess neither of us know for sure, but the Thunder have won 9 of 10 at home. The team on the floor tonight wasn’t losing to anyone, they had more. You know your team, I damn sure know mine.

You are better than that. You saying Luka’s defense made the Thunder shoot 38% in that one?

Did this not happen? My bad for thinking having both Kyrie and Luka in the lineup makes a difference. They are only the highest scoring duo in basketball
Like I said, I guess you are saying Lukas defense held the Thunder to their worst shooting performance of the year. I guess Luka should make all defense.

Probably easier said than done but if I'm facing Boston in the playoffs, I'm going to let Tatum and Brown beat me. I'm not letting the spot up shooters get any clean looks

Yep.

Make them make contested shots.

If Al Horford is allowed to catch and shoot rhythm 3s and he scores 20 points, you aren’t beating them.

Especially not when Tatum and Brown are getting their 65 points also.

Throwing shade at the most skilled big man since Hakeem. Bad look for you. We all know who run and dunk retard strength man is.

The most skilled big man since Hakeem is Jokic.

There is an argument to be made about the better player is, but no debate whatsoever that Embiid is the superior athlete. That isn’t close.

And since Embiid is clearly more athletic, that means Jokic is clearly more skilled.

Because overall they are close.

lol so Kyrie would only have around 18 or so if Luka played.....You should probably watch them play more

Kyrie plays different when Luka isn’t out there.

He doesn’t have as many opportunities and absolutely has occasional games (like Monday) where he just never gets it going.

I wouldn’t bet on Kyrie being held under 20 the way he was flowing last night, but it isn’t impossible.

Nope. He lacks the athleticism that Embiid does. Literally the only thing Jokic does better than Embiid is pass. I have a lot of respect for your basketball opinion but you’re dead wrong here. You can talk about Jokic’s game making teammates better to a greater extent than Embiid. You can talk about Jokic’s exceptional vision. Entire package? It’s Embiid all day long.

This is silly talk. They aren’t two separate metrics. It’s a Venn Diagram. Skills come from athleticism.
Because overall they are close.
This I agree with when we look at the finished product.

Can we agree though that Giannis game is just plowing over people and that Giannis has no bag?

Yeah I really didnt mean he would automatically be held under 20, I was countering the absolute bullshit of saying the Mavs would have won if PJ Washington hadn’t played bad. That is just extremely misinformed based on the Thunder team I saw last night. They don’t lose when they shoot the ball like that.

You're really building the board up to dunk on you when the Thunder eat shit in the playoffs. Because they will. Because they're so young.

But eventually they will be that kind of team.

People will do what they want. If you notice I state facts. The Thunder have lost 2 games all year when they shot over 50 percent. Both were shootouts where the other team scored more than 140 points. That was not the Mavs last night. The Thunder are the better team and we’re not losing last night if Washington played better. Give me a break.

Thunder won the season series, as they have against pretty much everyone. That would be the 2nd round though, pretty much gravy at that point.

If OKC loses, I don’t think we will look back and say it was a matchup thing. It is more than likely going to be a thousand little cuts type of deal. You’ll see about 4-6 guys that you look at and say that’s about 80-85% of their regular season production in this series they lose. It’s all a part of the growing process every team has to go through on the way to success.

PJ Washington shot 1-11 ( on mostly open looks) in a game that was close throughout. Wasn’t a crazy comment at all. The thunder didn’t win by 35

No they won by enough, game wasn’t in doubt. You normally watch a team before you say stupid shit, that’s what sets you apart from a lot of people. The Thunder had another gear they didn’t need, I hardly think PJ Washington was a concern. Gafford was though, he is exactly what the Thunder need.

Over the last 40 years there are less than 40 teams that have been top 5 in both net offense and net defense. For the non math wizzes that’s less than 1 team a season. This year there are 2, the Celtics are as well. Yea if the Thunder can break the mold and win a couple series it would be a surprise. But if they do they are only continuing the pattern they have already started of doing things never done before at the stage they are at.
