Decent signing bonus and that's about it, correct? Thinking even the top bonuses are "only" 10 mil at most.

And, sure, that's a lot.....but not close to what a top NFL guy will get.

I believe so.

Don’t follow baseball closely enough to know what a top signing bonus is today.

But those contracts are cost controlled for so long it even takes a few years to start getting paid after they make the majors.

TJD just posterized Wembanyama

Warriors lose ugly at home to the Spurs without Wemby, beat them on the road with him. That's the NBA

Denver better pull their heads out of the assses. Bring down 17 points at half to a team with almost half as many wins as you is unacceptable, especially at home.

Well that was ugly. But a win’s a win at the end of the day.

Toronto needed that L if they wanted to keep their pick

Thank you Jay Bilas!

Been saying this for years.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is making an argument that completely flies in the face of all logic.

In EVERY PROFESSION people learn over time and get better than prior generations were.

The entire logic is built off a strange obsession with Jordan.

Every time we bring up hand check we forget that players can be defended with a zone. You think someone hand checking prime Russ would be more effective than throwing multiple defenders at him at different angles and levels?

The players are substantially better shooters than ever and it isn't even close.

Exactly.....I mean for their 1st 3 seasons in the majors I'm pretty sure the team pays them whatever they want for the most part (under the CBA, of course). I know the Tribe did this for 25 players in the last day or so. Like all at or slightly above the minimum. And this is for guys like a Bibee who was 2nd in ROTY voting.
