So far he's showing the saying that sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make is true.

He's doing exactly that.

The idea that he is a negative asset that requires a pick to move was always trolling, potential trade partners overplaying their hand. But this talk that he's suddenly untradeable and the future of the team is an overstatement as well. I like DLo, but the team could be big-game hunting this summer and beyond (which I'm not thrilled with, especially if it results in a Trae trade) so his time with the Lakers could still be short.

With LaMelo hurt, the best players on each team are brothers. I wonder how often if ever that happens, where teams play and the #1 on both teams are brothers. There have been plenty of brother combos in the league but not like that...

Obviously both those teams are bad and being the 'best' on them doesn't make you great. But to have them both be that is kinda interesting to me
