The Pistons main beat writer now all but publicly said Monty is trying to get fired. This was before the Knicks game but in light of him again going with an overly deep rotation with all bench guys playing the floor at once.

The only time this team has had a good stretch was when they were down to like 8 or 9 guys and Monty was forced to rotate them out.

It's plain as day to anyone with eyes he's either the worst coach in subbing patterns in nba history or he's doing it on purpose

The guy closest to the org seems to think the latter

If so, that is a bad move.

I know there are financial implications vs. getting fired and resigning.

But you pretty much lock in that you aren’t getting another head job.
