Despite the loss and despite the fact that I can’t stand him and am disgusted that I have to root for him, Lowry was pretty good last night.
5-7 from the field 1-2 from 3 4 rebounds 5 assists for 11 points in 25 minutes. 3 turnovers is too much but his + 4 in his minutes was the best plus/minus on the team last night.

Almost like they were confused by having a 1st rounder, first since 2018. They were doing better with 2nds and UDFAs.

Seemingly EVERYONE wanted Whitmore as he slid, with Jaquez the local ties story. Whatever those rumblings were about Cam haven't really surfaced his rookie season.

I wanted him as a buyout for the Lakers, but Dinwiddie will be fine (although didn't do much last night).

Correct. They looked better without Garland. Mitchell is a better distributor and is a master at creating his own shot. This won’t happen but I would love if Garland was the PG for the second unit. Of course he would start but most of his minutes with Mitchell not on the floor. He can’t guard a fly, Orlando went at him in crunch time last night even on the switch.
