I can't ever recall a crowd not allowing the competitors some distance. Even Tiger in 2019. The course lost control of the crowd and that deserves criticism.

Used to always be like that in the British Open on the final day. I thought it was cool.

Oh I wasn't saying Brooks was blaming the crowd on 18 for why he lost. He has every right to say what he did. That was bush league by the crowd for sure.

I think in "19 Tiger had a bigger crowd than yesterday and it was contained pretty good but again it's hard to tell when we are in the current covid situation we are in Going from only maybe spouses in the crowd to however many people were let in yesterday is a huge difference.

I thought it was awesome. Just like the old days in the big events. I remember Arnie and Hogan emerging from the crowds in the U.S. and British Opens.

Yep. I fully expected him to choke in this one as well.

Sounds a little sour-grape-ish to me. But I was one of the few pulling for Koepka. Can't feel sorry for him though. he could not get it done when it counted this time. His 4 over score on the first 3 par 5s of the day was a killer. Can't choke like that in the clutch.

I wasn't pulling for him. But I didn't think he implode like he did

The PGA did "appologize" for the "lack" of crowd control. Pretty week appology but it was something I guess
