Apparently, Miami is trying to acquire the #3 so they can package it in a deal to get the #1. They would have #3, #18, #26 and #56 still after the Detroit trade up to #3. Not worth it and it sounds like Cincy isnt even taking calls lol

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport report "most teams" view Georgia's Isaiah Simmons as a safety, but that debate over his best position could cause him to fall in the draft Thursday evening.
Simmons worked out as a linebacker at the Combine, but has experience at linebacker, safety and slot corner. Rapsheet reports Simmons' evaluations are all over the map. Simmons has been rumored to go off the board as high as No. 3, but Rapsheet's words hint at an evening one plunge. Tweeners always create more uncertainty than teams are comfortable with.

Come on baby. Fall down the draft

Even if my team doesnt trade up for him. Some team will & that will create a stir today in the draft.
I need entertainment dammit!

didnt costner have 3 first rounders in that flick.....
He winds up with two, #1 and #7. He gets them by:

Trading three #1 picks to Seattle (#7 included) for the #1 overall pick.
Trades three #2 picks to Jacksonville for #6 after the prodigious Bo Callahan slide.
Trades #6 to Seattle for his original #1 picks (#7 included), as well as KR David Putney.

He essentially traded three 2nd round picks for the #1 pick and a Pro-Bowl KR. Just brilliant maneuvering.

the David Putney pick up is what made this deal an all star deal. LOL

I just have a feeling he is gonna be awesome.
I cant help but look at him as the next Darren Woodson.
A safety good enough to cover Wrs (& some of these TEs) & comfortable enough to play at the LB level of defense. if he has the intelligence for it. He might be the pick of the draft when all said & done. When you have to change defensive personnel it would give you a lot of manuveurability.

Yeah a lot of QB’s are projected top 5 and 1st round and are busts. Just bc he is a PAC guy you like him. Why is he a top 5 player in this draft? Nothing stands out other than his size
I don't know why he is a top 5 QB in the draft. I'm not a NFL scout, you will have to ask them why they have Herbert rated so high. Me having Herbert rated so high, has nothing to do with the NFL scouts.

recently polled 16 NFL executives asking what they thought Simmons’ best position would be in the NFL: 10 replied weak-side linebacker, three said nickel linebacker, one said outside linebacker and two said safety.
- Bob McGinn

Conflicting
