If either is there at 20 when a lot people had you taking them at 10 it's a good move. To me it signals that Elway isn't love with either of them but if they fall they fall and he's ok with taking them later.

Yeah I was expecting the 1st, a 3rd, 4th and probably two other day 3 picks. This team didn't need 10 picks, and having Oakland's 3rd is basically like having a 2nd round pick regardless.
