The Chiefs are off to a 2-0 start after 6-2 wins in Tri-City and in Victoria. The Chiefs finish the double header in Victoria tomorrow night and don't travel back there for the rest of the season.

I actually like it. No one ever uses neon green. Glad they had the guts to go against the grain. Although, I would've liked the jersey better if they inversed the green with the black, just to blind their opponent.

The Chiefs complete the two game sweep in Victoria with a 6-1 win. The Chiefs are 3-0 for the first time since 2008, which was kind of a special year. The Chiefs also have 3 of the top 4 scorers in the league so far.

Pretty funny scores in the three games played last night in the Dub, the visiting team won all three games and scored 6 goals in each of the games (two of them were 6-0 shutouts, Spokane let us down by allowing a goal )

Edit: On the previous night, the visiting team won both games by identical 6-2 scores. Crazy stuff.

Indeed, it's nice to see him off to such a torrid start. On the other hand, he's factored into 14 of Spokane's 20 goals so far and that's not so great. The Chiefs are going to need to pick up some secondary scoring at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later. At Portland on Wednesday should be a good test to see how the Chiefs stack up.

Tigers clamped down on Moose Jaw 4-2 tonight. Tommy 'Gino' Vannelli scored his 1st goal tonight as the Tigers improve to 4-1 on the season.

Tigers lost 5-4 in OT to Seattle last night - Of note, Shinkaruk scored twice for Medicine Hat.
