That's pretty cool, I never heard of them.

They've only been in DC for about 2-3 years. They've gotten very popular in the last year especially. Commuters use them (an increase in bike lines in DC has helped) and the tourists around the Mall like them as well. I know bikeshares are pretty popular in Europe. They have them in DC, Virginia, and stations are opening in Maryland as well.

Btw, it's a good thing that everything around here is closed today. Rush hour would have been a dangerous nightmare this evening if they hadn't.

It's off and on. Been drizzly most of the day. Pretty steady for the last several hours, but I wouldn't describe it as a downpour or anything. Definitely see some shrubs down or broken, but no trees down yet. The half dead one outside my office is a prime candidate. Luckily not tall enough or big enough to hurt me.

Still a few cars going by. Feel bad for the homeless people down here. Wish the security guy would just let them sit in the lobby or something.
