Lost power Monday at 6:20 PM, just got it back 3 hours ago. The generator had to be used sparingly, and solely for heat with gas being impossible to get. Had a paid week off, read 3 books, ate lots of unused Halloween candy, and helped stimulate the local economy by spending an inordinate amount of time and money at a local tavern. All in all I got off easy, but wow does it feel amazing to finally have electricity back. WTF is wrong with the Amish?

I guess some towns in Fairfield County here in CT are going to be getting in trouble for prics gouging. New Yorkers I guess are coming over in droves to get gas.
