It's high tide here right now. New Bedford in recent years built a big storm wall with a big, 2 door gate that they close for storms like this. A whole lot of the city will be saved from flooding by the surge and tide hitting together. A lot of flooding in other coastal cities and towns though.

i can guarantee that one day when a natural disaster happens that REALLY breaks the 1st world then I can see twitter and other social media delivery methods will TAKE lives more than they will save them. Sandy is terrible but with the amount of fake that is coming out I can really sense an issue in the future.
